60 Years of Cleaning: Our History
The company was founded in 1967 from Bruno Lanza's intuition: to identify and satisfy the needs of a specific and discerning target: the housewife. At a time when the availability of household accessories was limited, Bruno Lanza understood the importance of filling this gap. Reflecting this mission, from the very beginning, the company logo incorporated the image of a little house, a clear and explicit symbol of our core customer.
The business began with an old van: Bruno Lanza would go from house to house offering sponges, dishcloths, and brooms. This direct contact allowed him to accurately understand the needs of housewives and gradually expand his offering. The business soon grew, also supplying small shops and commercial businesses.
As time passed, the need for more space to store goods grew, leading to the creation of a small warehouse, essential to ensuring the continuity and reliability of supplies.
Beginning in 1986, sons Davide and Cristiano became increasingly involved in the family business. Each found their place within the organization, bringing their own expertise and embracing new opportunities.
This was the first step toward a significantly broader product range: initially focused on household cleaning products, the company quickly embraced the new needs expressed by its customers and expanded its offering to include personal hygiene, laundry, and pet food.
To support the continued expansion of its offering—which currently includes over 10,000 items—the company has gradually expanded its warehouse space over the years, ultimately establishing its current headquarters, featuring an innovative 40,000m2 logistics hub with a warehouse capacity of up to 33,000 pallet spaces.
This growth has necessitated a profound organizational evolution to ensure the highest level of commercial performance and provide an increasingly superior value proposition.
Today, Lanza Commercio Detergenza is a solid operator and a trusted partner for a broad and diverse national and international customer base, ranging from detergent manufacturers to supermarkets, retailers, wholesalers, and major FMCG players.
More than just customers: the company's strength also lies in its selection and purchasing capabilities, working consistently with qualified suppliers and being part of the C3 Purchasing Group, which brings together some of the most important Italian distributors in the wholesale and large-scale retail sectors.
